        Gratitude 2024 感谢

     Col 2:6,7 - And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

    Psalm 118:29 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever.

    1 Thess 5:18 – Give thanks in every situation because this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

    Psalm 9:1: I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

    Psalm 40:5 - Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

    The Gratitude Message – 2024
    Col 2:6,7

    Lent is a season of considering denying yourself some of life’s luxuries.
    ? Will you deny yourself the old habitual mindsets and patterns that have kept you stuck?
    You can’t afford the luxury of a negative thought

    Week Three of Lent: consider making Gratitude your Lenten practice.

    Through this discipline, we express gratitude for our many blessings and grow closer in relationship to Jesus Christ through our Lenten practices.

    What you focus on grows, so what if you were to focus on what is going right in your life rather than what is wrong?
    What would happen to you if you chose to see love, renewal, and surrender as opposed to sacrifice and deprivation for forty days?

    If you are at the end of your rope and don’t want to dive into the depths to figure out where this love is hiding, I can promise you that gratitude will help you do that.

    “We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.”

    A man decided to sell his home, so he contacted a realtor to draw up the paperwork and place an ad in the newspaper.
    “I’ve wanted to live in a home like this for years.”

    Gratitude is an awareness.
    We sometimes lose sight of how much we have to be grateful for.

    Jack Canfield - “Gratitude is the single most important ingredient to living a successful and fulfilled life.”

    You may be in a rough storm right now – but it is very easy to find something to be grateful for – especially if you are a born again child of God.

    Grateful for a short message.
    Heartfelt gratitude is a key to abundance. Along with generosity, it unlocks the great resources of God’s blessings into your life.
    “Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
    Gratitude is an awareness. It is an awareness of God’s abundance in your life.
    It is an abundance awareness that has to be cultivated. It comes with developing spiritual maturity.

    Col 2:6,7 - And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

    Children don’t always catch on to gratitude very quickly. Some people can go their whole lifetime without ever realizing the power and joy of living a grateful life.

    We’ve all seen the ungrateful child – and we’ve probably seen a few adults who were also a little less than appreciative.

    1 Cor 13:11 – When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.

    You cannot have a truly joyful life without sensing gratitude.

    Gratitude is an awareness.

    After a challenging adventure in life – even if it was a rough one – we find ways to make it part of the story that shapes our lives.

    “I don’t mind the struggles so much, because they make for interesting stories.”

    I am so grateful for all of you.
    All of you are part of the wonderful story that we will lovingly recall once we arrive at our home in heaven.

    Some of our family have already arrived.
    We are here, still waiting to get our tickets home.

    Don’t let this time go by. Seize it. Live it. Breathe it!

    “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

    Psalm 90:12: Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

    If you will practice gratitude, you will find yourself more and more living in the present moment – and not letting life just pass you by.

    Ephesians 3:14, 15: “When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.”
    Vs 18: “And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”

    Being thankful acknowledges what you have – and makes room for more.

    Gratitude is an awareness.
    START by being grateful for the abundance of God’s Grace
    Psalm 118:29 Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever.

    My mornings always start with gratitude:
    “Lord, You are good and Your mercies endure forever.”
    Joseph Prince: “Something happens when you receive the abundance of God’s grace, stop depending on your own efforts, and lean wholly upon His grace. The moment you surrender and say, “Lord, I cannot, but You can. Today, I rest in Your unmerited favor,” whatever demand that is upon you disappears into the vast ocean of His abundant supply.
    Many times, as I’m driving to church on Sunday morning, I feel the demand to preach a good message. The demand is real—more than 20,000 people in my congregation show up expecting to be well fed!
    That’s when I turn to Jesus and receive His abundance of grace.
    I say to Him, “Lord, today, You are my guest speaker! I rest in You. You speak. You feed them. You provide! You take over and I will watch You in action!”
    The moment I let go, His grace and His supply rush in! Hallelujah!”

    “My father says that almost the whole world is asleep. Everybody you know. Everybody you see. Everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement.”

    You can’t live an abundant life without gratitude.

    ? How can we love God and not recognize how abundantly He has blessed us?

    1 Thess 5:18 - in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
    How can we possibly be thankful enough?

    How many things has God done for us that we have even overlooked – or just simply couldn’t have even known about?

    Psalm 9:1: I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

    Do you need something to be thankful for today?

    Right now, you can know, no matter your current state, God is able to change things.

    If you are a true believer, if you are a born-again child of God, God has made all the resources you could possibly need readily available to you.

    Eph 3:20 – “…able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…”

    1 Cor 6:17 – “…the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”

    • Phil 4:13 – you can do “all things through Christ who strengthens (you.)”
    • Col 2:10 – “you also are complete (in Him) through your union with Christ”
    • Eph 3:12: Because of Christ and our faith in him,[d] we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.

    Stop looking around you for the answers to your situation.
    The Greater One lives in you.

    Your help comes from the Lord. Aren’t you grateful for that truth?

    Psalm 33: We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy Name. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in You.

    God’s love is unfailing. His mercies are new every morning.
    I am thankful today is a brand new morning for all of us.
