The LOVE You’re Searching For 您正在寻找的爱
1 John 4:7-9: Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:18: Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
(page 1981)
John 5:24 “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”
約 翰 福 音 5:24:“我实话告诉你们,谁听我的话,又信仰派我来的那位,谁就会得到永生,就不会被定罪,他就已经出死入生了。" (page 1725)
James 5:16: Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
雅 各 書 5:16: 要互相坦白自己的罪过,为彼此祈祷,以便上帝治愈你们。正义的人所做的祷告是会奏效的。(page 1964)

The
LOVE
You’re
Searching
For
1
John
4:7-19
Monday,
Memorial
Day
– a
time
to
let
go
and
let
GOD
I
realized
I
had
been
running
on
fumes
for
far
too
long
In
the
quietness
of
the
moment,
in
prayer
and
contemplation,
the
eyes
of
my
heart
opened
to
the
need
we
all
have
to
return
to
the
LOVE
that
we
need
Seek
the
Lord
–
seek
Him
with
your
whole
heart
If
you
seek
a
sunrise
while
travelling
west
(or
a
sunset
traveling
east)
you
will
never
find
it
(you
will
only
find
disappointment)
May
you
know
the
Love
of
Christ.
May
you
know
the
Love
of
Christ.
1
John
4:18:
Such
love
has
no
fear,
because
perfect
love
expels
all
fear.
If
we
are
afraid,
it
is
for
fear
of
punishment,
and
this
shows
that
we
have
not
fully
experienced
his
perfect
love.
Are
we
running
toward
Jesus
as
our
Redeemer
–
the
Lamb
of
God
Who
takes
away
the
sin
of
the
world?
…or
are
we
still
thinking
we
are
the
condemned?
*(No
Condemnation)
Living
like
you’re
waiting
for
test
scores
John
5:24
(Jesus)
“I
tell
you
the
truth,
those
who
listen
to
my
message
and
believe
in
God
who
sent
me
have
eternal
life.
They
will
never
be
condemned
for
their
sins,
but
they
have
already
passed
from
death
into
life.”
God’s
Love
(the
love
we
have
been
searching
for)
is
the
power
that
will
change
us.
“Let
us
lay
aside
every
weight,
and
the
sin
which
doth
so
easily
beset
us”
Heb
12:1
Let
us
put
every
thing
out
of
our
lives
that
keeps
us
from
doing
what
we
should.
God’s
Love
(the
love
we
have
been
searching
for)
is
what
will
change
us.
1
John
4:21
–
let
us
also
reflect
this
love
(we
have
received)
to
others.
Christ
has
given
us
this
commandment:
The
person
who
loves
God
must
also
love
other
believers.
“For
he
has
given
us
this
command:
whoever
loves
God
must
also
demonstrate
love
to
others.”
Jesus'
two
greatest
commandments
are
to
love
God
and
love
your
neighbor:
•
Love
the
Lord
your
God
with
all
your
heart
and
with
all
your
soul
and
with
all
your
mind
•
Love
your
neighbor
as
yourself
Matthew
22:37-39:
Jesus
replied:
“‘Love
the
Lord
your
God
with
all
your
heart
and
with
all
your
soul
and
with
all
your
mind.’
This
is
the
first
and
greatest
commandment.
And
the
second
is
like
it:
‘Love
your
neighbor
as
yourself.’
We
know
we
should
walk
in
love,
but
sometimes
we
find
ourselves
not
doing
it
very
well.
?
Are
you
willing
to
stretch
beyond
the
borders
of
your
limited
past
experiences
and
recognize
God’s
will
is
for
you
to
experience
more
of
His
love
and
power
in
your
life?
Can
you
recognize
that
that
time
is
now?
“REMEMBER,
ANY
LIMITATIONS
YOU
HAVE
IN
YOUR
LIFE
ARE
PROBABLY
JUST
THE
RESULT
OF
LIMITED
EXPERIENCES.
EXPAND
YOUR
REFERENCES,
AND
YOU'LL
IMMEDIATELY
EXPAND
YOUR
LIFE.”
Phil
3:10:
All
I
want
is
to
know
Christ
and
to
experience
the
power
of
his
resurrection…
“And
I
continually
long
to
know
the
wonders
of
Jesus
and
to
experience
the
overflowing
power
of
his
resurrection
working
in
me.”
Let
us
set
that
intention
and
keep
that
intention
“Keep
fresh
before
me
the
moments
of
my
High
Resolve”
Remember
the
Mission.
Isn’t
everything
we
do
as a
church
tied
to
this
mission
to
love
God
and
to
love
others?
Col
2:2:
“encouraged
in
heart
and
united
in
love”
Our
two-fold
path
is
to
first
receive
God’s
Love
–
and
then
to
let
that
love
flow
through
us
to
others.
WE
now
have
Response
Ability
– we
have
the
ability
to
respond
to
God’s
love
and
let
HIS
Love
flow
through
us
to
change
the
planet.
Still
feel
challenged?
When
we
are
weak
– HE
is
strong
NOT
responding
in
LOVE
is a
sign
of
our
own
weakness
Truly
responding
with
the
Love
of
Christ
is
something
higher
than
our
own
ability.
It
means
we
yield
– we
surrender
– to
a
power
greater
than
our
own.
So
much
of
what
we
do
is
based
on
our
current
state
of
accepting
that
LOVE
– or
the
opposite
state
of
still
searching
for
a
way
fill
that
perception
of
NOT
having
that
love.
Ephesians
3:19-20:
"That
you
may
be
filled
to
the
measure
of
all
the
fullness
of
God.
Now
to
Him
who
is
able
to
do
immeasurably
more
than
all
we
ask
or
imagine,
according
to
His
power
that
is
at
work
within
us"
“More
Love
–
More
Power
–
More
of
YOU
in
My
Life”
The
“christian”
critics
love
to
use
that
term
“prosperity
gospel”
to
attack
and
condemn
other
ministers,
but
I
would
submit
–
“what
is
the
alternative?
the
poverty
gospel?”
So
many
believers
are
walking
their
daily
Christian
walk
with
a
poverty
of
God’s
love.
They
are
missing
it –
and
don’t
even
realize
it.
As
Paul
wrote,
“Now
I
will
show
you
a
better
way.”
"Blessed
are
the
poor
in
spirit,
for
theirs
is
the
kingdom
of
heaven"
is
the
third
verse
of
the
fifth
chapter
of
the
Gospel
of
Matthew
in
the
New
Testament.
It
is
the
first
verse
of
the
Sermon
on
the
Mount
and
the
Beatitudes
section
of
the
sermon.
“What
happiness
comes
to
you
when
you
feel
your
spiritual
poverty!
For
yours
is
the
realm
of
heaven's
kingdom."
"poor
in
spirit"
means:
•
Recognizing
one's
own
sin,
spiritual
emptiness,
and
poverty
•
Not
being
self-satisfied
or
proud
•
Turning
to
Christ
with
humility
and
faith
•
Realizing
how
badly
one
needs
God
and
how
they
are
nothing
without
Him
•
Recognizing
one's
total
spiritual
destitution
and
complete
dependence
on
God
1
John
5:1-5:
Everyone
who
believes
that
Jesus
is
the
Messiah
is
God’s
spiritual
child
and
has
been
fathered
by
God
himself.
And
everyone
who
loves
Father
God
loves
his
children
as
well.
This
is
how
we
can
be
sure
that
we
love
the
children
of
God:
by
having
a
passionate
love
for
God
and
by
obedience
to
his
commands.
True
love
for
God
means
obeying
his
commands,
and
his
commands
don’t
weigh
us
down
as
heavy
burdens.
You
see,
every
child
of
God
overcomes
the
world,
for
our
faith
is
the
victorious
power
that
triumphs
over
the
world.
So
who
are
the
world
conquerors,
defeating
its
power?
Those
who
believe
that
Jesus
is
the
Son
of
God.
ESV:
For
this
is
the
love
of
God,
that
we
keep
his
commandments.
And
his
commandments
are
not
burdensome.
NLV:
Loving
God
means
to
obey
His
Word,
and
His
Word
is
not
hard
to
obey.
You’ve
experienced
much
more
of
the
Love
of
God
than
you
can
recognize
with
the
natural
senses.
1
John
4:19:
We
are
able
to
love
God
and
other
people
because
God
loved
us
first.
“Grace
is
God’s
Love
in
Action.”
From
sinking
sand
He
lifted
me,
With
tender
hand
He
lifted
me,
From
shades
of
night
to
plains
of
light,
O
praise
His
name,
He
lifted
me!
When
we
find
ourselves
in
the
whirlwind
–
when
we
seem
to
have
lost
our
way…
check
your
heart
–
check
your
soul.
Are
you
rooted
and
grounded
in
the
Love
of
Christ?
"If
you
want
more
of
MY
Love,
you
have
to
make
room
for
it"
1
John
2:15:
Do
not
love
this
world
nor
the
things
it
offers
you,
for
when
you
love
the
world,
you
do
not
have
the
love
of
the
Father
in
you.
Love
NOT
the
world
Let
Go
of
all
the
things
that
are
holding
you
back
from
what
God
wants
to
impart
into
your
life.
We
can
make
room
in
our
hearts
for
more
of
God’s
love
through
repenting
of
those
opposing
things
that
may
be
filling
our
hearts
today.
Justifying
Grace.
Sanctifying
Grace.
(“our
sanctification”
verse)
James
5:16:
Therefore
confess
your
sins
to
each
other
and
pray
for
each
other
so
that
you
may
be
healed.
The
prayer
of a
righteous
person
is
powerful
and
effective.
Confess
your
faults...
that
you
may
be
healed
