Share Life
John 1:4,5

“The greatest life in the world is to share life. That’s what life is all about.”
– TL Osborn

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
…In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Matt 4:16: the people living in darkness have seen a great light

YOU, as a Believer, have the Light of Christ in You.

The Light – The Word made flesh
TPT “the Living Expression“ “the Living Expression was with God, yet fully God.”

Talking to a Christian brother the other day about strengths and limitations
…about how certain tasks make us feel so overwhelmed
“If I had to complete a tax form I would just…”

At my best…

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

You and I are part of the ALL
…but only a part. We each have our own part – in our capacity - to serve.
Peter: “ …but such as I have give I thee…”

Romans 12:3 – For I say to every man that is among you, through the grace given unto me, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

“Not to think more highly than…” (YOU can’t DO everything)
“ …honestly assess your worth by using your God-given faith as the standard of measurement, and then you will see your true value with an appropriate self-esteem.”
Let YOUR Light so shine…

We must honor each Child of God as a Unique Expression of the Living Expression

1 Corinthians 12:4-7: There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all

God has given us all a variety of gifts. They are all for the edifying of the body of Christ!
But remember, we never would have been able to receive these gifts if Jesus didn’t die, rise again, and go to the right hand of the Father to send the Holy Spirit to us!

We are empowered through the grace of God

Eph 3:7: “I became a servant of this gospel…”

“not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think “

…but also, don’t diminish what God put inside of you by your limited faith (or comparison to others)

Let your light so shine Your Light. Your measure of faith

“Wherever God has you, be your best. Don’t slack off because it’s not where you want to be and it’s less than what’s in you.
Keep being faithful and your time is coming. God wants you to shine.”

You and Christ within you are more than enough for your unique mission and purpose.

Just remember: It is part of a bigger mission – a bigger purpose within the Body of Christ. (all working together)

That means honoring God – honoring the gifts God has placed inside of you to cultivate and express - and honoring the Light shining from the other parts of the Body of Christ.


Romans 12:3-8 (TPT)
God has given me grace to speak a warning about pride. I would ask each of you to be emptied of self-promotion and not create a false image of your importance. Instead, honestly assess your worth by using your God-given faith as the standard of measurement, and then you will see your true value with an appropriate self-esteem.
In the human body there are many parts and organs, each with a unique function.

And so it is in the body of Christ.
For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ.

This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others.
God’s marvelous grace imparts to each one of us varying gifts.

So if God has given you the grace-gift of prophecy, activate your gift by using the proportion of faith you have to prophesy.

If your grace-gift is serving, then thrive in serving others well.
If you have the grace-gift of teaching, then be actively teaching and training others.
If you have the grace-gift of encouragement, then use it often to encourage others.

If you have the grace-gift of giving to meet the needs of others, then may you prosper in your generosity without any fanfare.
If you have the gift of leadership, be passionate about your leadership.
And if you have the gift of showing compassion, then flourish in your cheerful display of compassion.

As the Body of Christ – we are each a part of “the Living Expression “

Letting your light shine will sometimes mean saying “yes” to something out of your comfort zone… and that can be difficult.

It may also mean saying “no” to something not in-line with what God has purposed for you to do – and that can be even more difficult.

“You can’t continue to empty your well”

It’s NOT being “selfish” to develop your potential and also find downtime to rest
Being a good steward of your talents requires investing in yourself

No one can do “everything” – and you can’t always be on Red Alert status, either.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed – even guilty – if we keep the whole world on our shoulders

Even Jesus went away to rest

HE (Jesus) is the Vine – we are the branches

“apart from Him…”

Stay connected to Jesus’ Divine Grace – Divine Mercy – and Divine Power

2 Peter 1:3 - “According as His Divine Power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue”



If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

You have to have faith in the finished work of the cross to be this bold in your actions – and you have to know it is Christ in you – and not you.

Posture of Faith: Where is the posture? Where is the feeling?

Can we choose to operate as the Body of Christ – here today for ourselves and for each other – and see God work in and through us?

In our walk of Grace by Faith.

It doesn’t so much matter where we’ve been – it matters eternally where we go from here.

Romans 6:16: “ … if you choose to love and obey God, He will lead you into perfect righteousness.”
