     LEVEL UP 提升

1 Thess 5:23,24 - May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If He said it, He’ll do it!
(pg 1918)

John 3:17 - For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
(page 1720)
1 Peter 5:10: …the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
(page 1971)
Romans 3:20: For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
Eph 2:8,9: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
(pg 1895)
2 Cor 5:21: For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ

     LEVEL UP
    1 Thess 5:23,24

Ed Mylett Podcast: I remember when Max was a little boy we would go to this car wash on Sundays after church. There was a man there every single Sunday. He was reading the newspaper.

This guy was there when we would get there and he be there when we leave

later on in the afternoon I drive by the car wash. this guy was still there - reading the newspaper

    (kind of a grumpy Guy)

one Sunday he showed some Humanity never even looked up from the newspaper usually just grunting and grimming at people you know, and he says to me, he goes “How old is your little boy? and I said, “oh he's six” and he said to me, “well, enjoy the six-year-old because man when they turn seven that six-year-old's gone forever, and when he turns eight the seven-year old's gone forever.

Any of you that are parents know that he's right. They change every year.

Yes, it's a new little person running around, and (Edd says) I didn't mean to be rude to him, but reflexively it just came out of me…

I said, “Sir, when did that process stop for you?” He said, “Excuse me?” and put the paper down.
“At what age did you stop doing that?” “Huh?”
I said, “At what age did you stop replacing yourself with a brand new person every year?”

He looked at me for a minute and he said, “gosh I don't I don't know.”

and I said, “You know I'm younger than you. I'm in my 30’s, but to me that's the end of happiness that if you're the same person every single year, you've already lived with that person for a year you already know who they are they've already had the same experiences, the same thoughts. It's like, why be alive if you're not going to grow and change?”

    “When you’re green you grow,…”

your character your values those things shouldn't change, but your experience, your thoughts, your mindset, your ability to make an impact and influence things in the world your memories, ought to be expanding and growing.

At any given time you're constantly replacing Yourself

    that's nature
you're replacing your digestive tract, your cells are replacing themselves - even your skeleton replaces itself
that's nature it happens automatic. but replacing our mind, renewing our mind, renewing our experiences - that takes work - that takes effort

“Change the Trajectory of Your Life”

Can we start to deliberately reshape 2025 by finishing off 2024 in the right way?
Spoiler Alert: In order to really change, you need more than your own abilities.
    You will need God’s help.

“Level Up” - increase something in order to remove a disparity.

Do you really believe it is possible?

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

What holds us back from making a change?
Guilt. Condemnation. Unforgiveness. Fear. Dount. Unbelief.

We often carry around so much more baggage than we need to carry.

I find my attitude shifts when I judge myself by the wrong standards. I beat myself up.

I disqualify myself of the very Daily Grace that I so desperately need.

"You either live in the shame that you don't measure up or rest in the reality that Jesus measured up on your behalf."
Don’t judge your standing by your current state.
Jesus said: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
MSG: “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest.
Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

God provided for us (through Jesus Christ) Grace and Mercy to make our lives free and abundantly blessed.

    John 10:10 – More Abundantly

John 3:17 - For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

It’s time to Level Up – trusting in God to do what we could never do ourselves.

Eph 3:7 - I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power.

It is actually a form of pride that says we control our standing with God.
It wasn’t our good works that made us righteous. It is God who has established us.

1 Peter 5:10 – “ …the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

“A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways”

Gal 5: “You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.”

If you keep bouncing back between grace and the law, you will never get established – you’ll always be unstable. You’ll be easily hindered from doing anything for the Kingdom of God because your faith will not be securely based on God’s Word and our New Covenant, which was sealed by Christ’s blood.

Romans 3:20 – “For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.”
Self-righteousness is believing we are made right with God through our own works. For example, a person might think, "Well, if I read through my Bible every year, then God will be pleased with me." But the truth is we don't have to read our Bible to please God; we read it because it helps us in our everyday life. It's for our own good.
The only way we are made righteous (right with God) is by having faith in Jesus Christ—it's not something we can ever earn in our own effort.
Our righteousness – our right-standing with God is not by our false piety or good deeds.
It actually takes a genuine humility.

1 Peter 5:6,7 - Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

as today’s scripture puts it, “He’ll do it!”

Humble yourself and admit your daily need for God’s Grace. ( )
Phil 3:13,14: I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.

The Bible says to “Be Still and Know” that He is God. Be Still

Stop jumping back and forth between the Old and New testaments.

The New Testament in Jesus’ Blood is what you need to trust in.

You have right-standing with God through Jesus Christ.

God’s Grace is made perfect through our weakness

If you want power to overcome your weakness – to overcome the strongholds – the weight that you’ve been carrying – it can only come through the blood of Jesus.

Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ.

There IS Power in the Blood. Overcoming Power. Wonder-working Power.

When was the last time you took time to just “be still” so that you could know His Grace was sufficient for you?

    Be Still and Know…

Eph 2:8,9: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
2 Cor 5:21 Paul writes, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."

1 John 1:8 (NLT), "If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth."
“Shouldn't we try to do what's right?"
Absolutely! God wants us to live through faith in Christ.
Then, as we have a personal relationship with Him, we'll do the right thing by His grace because we want to do the right thing.

He puts the desire in us to do what's right.
In Philippians 3:3 (NLT), Paul explains that "we rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort."
Paul says he obeyed the law without fault, and if any person had a reason to have confidence in himself by the law's standard, he had more of a reason than anyone.
In verses 7 through 9 of that chapter, Paul goes on to say, "I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith."

Paul is saying in order to have a relationship with Christ, he had to be willing to gather up all of his accomplishments and the things he had worked so hard for and be willing to get rid of them all.
That's because it's nothing but trash compared to the priceless privilege of knowing Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Yes, what we do matters, but our good works do not make us acceptable to God. We are only made right with Him by putting our faith in Jesus Christ.

And when we put our faith in Christ, we can rest in knowing that everything is all right.

Another part of living and being in the Grace Zone is recognizing God is always with you.

He said He would never leave us nor forsake us – even when we are wrapped up in our own world of selfishness and unbelief.

Romans 5 (Amp) – “Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 2 Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power].”
